Bakari Eugene Vickerson, MD Psychiatrist
Medical Director
Dr. Bakari Vickerson is a board-certified psychiatrist, who is kind and caring and patient focused. He first studied at Morehouse College before completing his psychiatry and integrative medicine residencies at Emory University. He fell in love with psychiatry during medical school as he began working with patients.

To him, time stood still while he was able to talk with patients and get to know them, and that connection allowed for the most cohesive treatment plans. He believes in holistic treatment. Treatment options such as psychotherapy, medication management, and other therapies based on client needs.

Dorcas W. Mwangi
MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, FNP-C
Dorcas is a dual Board-Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and family nurse practitioner licensed in Georgia with over 20 years of experience in providing care to children, teens, adults, and families.
She provides patient-centered care with an evidence-based approach in an effort to give patients the tools necessary to achieve optimal mental health function. She utilizes a holistic approach, which means she partners with patients to connect Biopsychosocial factors that contribute to unwellness. This partnership helps with the examination of how your genetics, physical health, psychological make-up, social interactions, and lifestyle contribute to your overall well-being.

Patients can expect honest communication within a safe and nonjudgmental environment. We respect and value all patients and understand that seeking mental care is not always easy.
In addition to medication management, Dorcas focuses on therapeutic interventions that are rooted in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, supportive therapy and solution-focused therapy.
Her ultimate goal is to work with her patients to find an individualized treatment plan that helps them to achieve their best wellness.

Shannon Dean
MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC
Shannon is a compassionate and dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) committed to providing inclusive, patient-centered mental health care. With a deep understanding of the diverse experiences that shape mental well-being, Shannon strives to create a safe, welcoming space for all individuals, regardless of background or identity.
Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), Shannon specializes in the comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma, mood disorders, and psychotic disorders. Shannon approaches each patient as a unique individual, tailoring treatment plans that reflect the complexities of their lives and experiences.
Believing that mental health care should be accessible and free from stigma, Shannon focuses on building a trusting relationship with each patient, empowering them to take an active role in their healing journey. Through a combination of medication management and holistic care, Shannon helps patients improve their mental well-being and lead fulfilling lives.
With a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Shannon has worked in a variety of clinical settings, both inpatient and outpatient care, prioritizing inclusive approach that values diversity and promotes understanding. Shannon is passionate about advocating for mental health awareness and accessibility, believing that everyone deserves to feel heard, supported, and empowered in their mental health journey.

Sasha Grant
MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC
Sasha Grant, I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with over six years of nursing experience, dedicated to delivering compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to children, adolescents, and adults. My practice is grounded in a holistic, patient-centered approach that respects each individual's unique background, values, and needs.
I strive to create a safe, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment where patients feel heard, supported, and empowered. I believe that healing begins with open dialogue and a strong therapeutic alliance, and I prioritize collaboration and trust in every aspect of care.
Passionate about providing high-quality, comprehensive mental health services, I utilize a variety of therapeutic interventions—including supportive therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused strategies—to address a broad spectrum of mental health concerns. These include anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, bipolar disorder, ADHD, PTSD, OCD, insomnia, adjustment disorders, grief and loss, substance use disorders, behavioral issues, psychotic disorders, and personality disorders.
My goal is to help each patient recognize their strengths and collaboratively develop personalized treatment plans that promote growth, resilience, and long-term wellness.

Dwayne J Colson

Dwayne (DJ) Colson is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia with over 20 years of experience in the mental health field. His approach to therapy is integrative, compassionate, and tailored to the individual—because he believes in treating the person, not just the condition.
DJ incorporates cognitive-behavioral therapy, rational-emotive therapy, mindfulness, and solution-focused techniques to create personalized treatment plans that meet each client’s unique needs. His goal is to help individuals find freedom from mental illness, addiction, and emotional distress, empowering them to live healthier, more fulfilling lives.
In addition to his civilian practice, DJ has served as a mental health specialist in the military for 27 years, providing dedicated support to Veterans and Service members. He holds a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Thomas Edison University.
Throughout his career, DJ has worked with clients facing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, substance use disorders, and career stress. He understands that starting therapy can feel overwhelming, especially for those new to the process, and he strives to create a welcoming, judgment-free space where clients feel heard, respected, and supported.

My name is Daphney Predvil. I am a licensed professional counselor. I work with adolescents (15 and up), individuals, couples, and families.
I work with clients addressing issues including, but not limited to, trauma, relationship stressors, family stressors, educational stressors, work stressors, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, grief, and life transitions such as loss, death, marriage, divorce, homelessness, and career change. I hope to help facilitate a sense of healing, health, and wholeness in a safe and non-judgmental environment.
My approach seeks to facilitate a decrease in mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional distress; and help to facilitate an increase in self-awareness, resilience, encourage emotional growth, and enhance relationships with others and with oneself.
